Heritage Properties for Sale (formerly H.A.L.P.)
The best way to ensure stewardship of Ontario's heritage property is to find sympathetic owners. Yet those interested in owning heritage property are often unaware when vacant historic property become available for sale: properties off the beaten path; part of a larger site slated for redevelopment; not listed with a real estate company or only listed locally.
In co-operation with members of the real estate industry the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario publicizes the availability of heritage property for sale with a particular emphasis on vacant, at-risk historic buildings threatened by neglect, demolition or inappropriate alteration, and links prospective purchasers with suitable properties.
